Parson x Múzsa, Budapest • Masterclass & Guest Shift

Hunting, exploring, sharing, socializing... everything deeply rooted in Parson’s pedigree was showcased on a lovely autumn afternoon at Hungary’s No. 1 cocktail bar!

Múzsa, home to creative cocktails and inspiring stories, is undoubtedly a leading cocktail bar in the region, as confirmed by numerous awards. Among its accolades, Múzsa has received the Bar of the Year award from the Dining Guide, was chosen as the best bar of the year within the Four Seasons brand and proudly stands on the renowned 50 Best Discovery list.

It was an honor and a privilege to have the opportunity to present our story and the unique flavours of Parson gin to the curious and enthusiastic bartenders of Budapest.

Our brand ambassador, Miguel Castro da Silva, head bartender at LUFT Fun Dining and Cocktails, guided us through the tasting notes and aromas of four Parson gin flavours, then posed an interesting question to the audience: "Could gin take over an entire cocktail menu?". Even though gin is considered a guest-favorite ingredient, many would argue that creating an interesting and diverse menu based solely on one spirit is impossible. However, since nothing is impossible in the house of Parson, we were challenged to prove otherwise.

In this educational masterclass, we focused on the versatility of Parson and its ability to be used with just a couple of simple ingredients while still achieving a complete flavour profile. Our main satisfaction comes from the fact that we’re becoming part of the bartending community, where high-standard concoctions are created through advanced techniques, bringing out the best notes of each gin. Parson allows us to experiment with different flavours and use each one in a similar way to other spirits—for instance, as a great substitute for rum or whiskey.

The masterclass was followed by an evening guest shift in a pleasant atmosphere, accompanied by the rhythms of a violin and the mesmerizing movements of a ballet dancer. And let us tell you, sipping cocktails never felt so good.

We take this opportunity to thank Ádám Rédli and his Múzsa team for their inexhaustible energy and efforts in building the bartending community and elevating the cocktail scene to the next level.

Special thanks to Mr.Alkohol for their support.
